Geumgang River is very easy of access now. The Geumgang Estuary Bank has made the interchange between Jeollabuk-do and Chungcheongnam-do active, and the expressway between Gunsan and Hamyang, the expressway between Gunsan and Daejeon, and the railway between Gunsan and Janghang under construction as well as the Seohaean Expressway opened to traffic make it possible to reach the large area including Seoul, Gyeonggi-do, Gwangju, Jellanam-do, Daegu, Gyeongsangbuk-do as well as Jeollabuk-do and Chungcheongnam-do within 2-3 hours, which means the Birdwatch Observatory is going to become much easier of access. The traffic such as road, railway, transportation service in harbors, and air transportation is also being improved systematically and synthetically.
